1. Who is IAPA / What does IAPA stand for?
IAPA is the International Airline Passengers Association. For over 45 years members of IAPA have counted on us for great travel savings, impressive insurance coverage, and much more.

2. What are the main benefits of IAPA membership?
IAPA membership is designed to give outstanding value for money on a range of benefits for the frequent traveler. These include unique and tailored insurance policies, including cover that is hard to find elsewhere, such as terrorism cover. We also negotiate exceptional rates for members that will save you money when you travel, including exclusive offers on hotels and car rental. Membership also includes access to a carefully-selected collection of travel planning tools and money-saving tools, including a free international SIM card for your mobile / cellphone. Find out more through our Membership Benefits page.

3. Can I join online?
Yes, you can join through the online application form on this website. You'll find this through any of the Join Now links on the site.

4. What if I change my mind?
We are so sure that you will be satisfied with your membership of IAPA that we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. In the unlikely event that you decide within 30 days that membership is not for you, then simply call us and explain, and we will refund your membership fees in full. The only condition is that we will not make a refund if you have already made a claim under any insurance you took out with IAPA.

5. I joined last week but I still haven't received my membership pack
We are sorry you still haven't received your pack. We aim to send out membership packs as soon as possible, but you should allow 14 days for delivery, and it can be longer for some countries. Please note that if you have provided us with more than one address, your pack will be sent to your main or primary address.

6. Why do I have to enter my country of residence and date of birth when I go to the Membership Benefits page?
IAPA is a global organization and this means that we pay special attention to ensuring that our membership benefits are tailored to different parts of the world. Whether you live in Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East or elsewhere, we ensure that your membership package is just right for you. In addition, we are able to offer additional insurance benefits to members, depending on their age, which is why we ask for your date of birth.

7. Does IAPA membership offer good value for money?
Undoubtedly YES! By bringing together this wide range of benefits and providing them to our worldwide membership, we are able to package them together at a price that is significantly lower than general market rates. We've calculated that a typical member paying US$129 for membership of IAPA would receive benefits worth over US$400 - and that's not counting savings made through our exclusive offers on hotels and car rentals.

8. How long does my membership of IAPA last?
Membership of IAPA lasts for one year, and is renewed annually. However certain products can be purchased in addition to your annual membership, and these individual products may have their own specific expiry date.

9. Is there a telephone number to contact IAPA on?
We have helpful, multi-lingual membership services teams in Dallas, London and Hong Kong. You can find the numbers on this website by visiting the Contact Us page.

10. I would like to join IAPA but I don't have a credit card. Will this mean I can't join?
We are unable to accept payments through other means via our website. However it is possible to join IAPA offline through a cheque/bankers draft payment. Please call our membership services department and they will post or fax you an application form. Please note that if you add membership of Priority Pass to your membership of IAPA, then you must provide a credit card as this is required to pay for airport lounge visits.
