- The IAPA card is not transferable and may not be used by any person other than the member.
- It is not a credit card, nor proof of credit-worthiness.
- Your membership is valid up to and including the expiry date shown on the card. Upon renewal a new card will be forwarded reflecting your extended membership period.
- Membership and renewal of same is at the discretion of IAPA.
- Membership is individual. If your card is lost or stolen contact IAPA immediately, and your card will be replaced.
- Your membership card remains the property of IAPA and must be surrendered on demand in any case of use or attempted use, contrary to these terms and conditions.
- Any instance where the IAPA card is not recognized or the correct benefit not offered should be reported to IAPA in writing, along with full details of the incident and a copy of the bill if applicable. To claim the benefits available to you as an IAPA member, it is essential that you identify yourself as an IAPA member at time of reservation and again upon arrival.
- Rates apply to individual IAPA members only. Non-members will not necessarily be accorded IAPA benefits if they are not sharing your room.
- IAPA cannot be held responsible if establishments refuse entry, are taken over or cease trading, nor for any defects in goods or services.
- IAPA cannot accept responsibility for errors, omissions or misrepresentations which may occur.
- IAPA cannot be held responsible for disputes that may occur between the member and a third party.
- Some facilities offered as part of IAPA are provided by contractors over whom IAPA has no control. IAPA will endeavor to ensure the benefits are upheld but cannot guarantee the facilities available.
- IAPA retains the right to make changes to the Master Policies for the group membership insurances at any time. All such changes will be notified to members.
- All insurance cover is subject to the full policy terms and conditions, limitations and exclusions.
- A member may resign membership at any time by letter addressed to IAPA. If resignation is made on or after 30 days of joining, no refund will be applicable.
- Refunds are not applicable to members introduced by an existing member through a gift
promotion or through any other program whereby IAPA has paid an incentive fee, e.g. airline or frequent hotel user miles or points programs.

Worldwide Personal Accident Program

IAPA (Global) Limited has effected insurance cover for all IAPA members with Professional Travel Insurance Company Limited (the Insurer). You become the insured person and adopt the full terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of the policy from 11:59pm local time of the service centre of the association from which the documentation is provided to the Insured and when the application is accepted and payment received. This also applies to the expiration of this policy. Scheduled Flight, Public Transportation and 24-Hour-All Accident (if applicable) coverage’s are effective from the acceptance date. Trip Accident coverage is effective for Trips commencing after the acceptance date. For your convenience, IAPA (Global) Limited continues to negotiate policy terms and conditions annually for you and to assist you in making any claim.
I confirm to the best of my knowledge and belief that, 1) the statements contained herein are true and correct and I have omitted no material facts (a material fact is one which is known to the proposer and which would influence the assessment and acceptance of a proposal). If you are in any doubt as to what constitutes material fact(s), said fact(s) should be disclosed. I agree that this application will attach to the original proposal and form the basis of the contract.2) all persons to whom the 24-Hour-All-Accident application applies are in full possession of all limbs and eyes and have no infirmities thereof. It is understood that the Insurer will incur no liability because of this application unless and until it is accepted and the first premium paid.
Worldwide Personal Accident Program – Seguros Bolívar, S.A.

The insurance coverage is effected with Compañía de Seguros Bolívar S.A. and it is subject to the full terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of the policy. For your convenience IAPA continues to negotiate with Seguros Bolívar S.A. the policy terms and conditions annually. The value of the US Dollar for all transactions and payment of losses will be the available market exchange rate for the date in which the transaction is processed (subject to your credit card conditions) or the loss occurred. Benefits are payable in equivalent of Colombian Pesos. Membership and renewal of same is at the discretion of IAPA.

I acknowledge adoption of the insurance policy, referred to below, as the Insured person with effect from the acceptance date of this application. I understand that this application forms the basis of the insurance contract and that the withholding of material facts may result in the Insurers non-liability for claims. Underwritten by the National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA. It is currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. NAIC No. 19445. This is only a brief description of the insurance coverage(s) available under policy series T30253NUFIC. The Policy contains reductions, limitations, exclusions, and termination provisions. Full details of the coverage are contained in the Policy. If there are any conflicts between this document and the Policy, the Policy shall govern. Car Rental Collision Coverage is provided worldwide through Travel Guard®. The maximum coverage under this plan is $3,000.
