Airlines have toyed with the idea of putting advertisements inside aircraft. Some have donned ads on the exteriors of their planes and some budget carriers plaster their overhead bins with ads that some find unsightly while others ignore. It "only" took 5 weeks but Tiger Airways' Australia flights can now resume after the airline received the go-ahead by Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Concerns over safety and training had prompted CASA to take the unprecedented step of ordering the airline's operations within Australia halted.
