Mobile phone calls in flight have been allowed in certain parts of the world but few airlines have allowed the full use of mobile devices at cruising altitude. In a move that will surely stir the debate over the use of mobile phones in an aircraft, Virgin Atlantic is bringing in-flight mobile calls to the UK.
